New quilt for the Store...

I cut this quilt out yesterday on my lunch hour and then sewed it up this morning. This quilt took me way out of my comfort zone as far as fabric choice (the store made the choice to help sell the fabric). The pattern is from the book, Happy Hour by Atkinson Designs and is entitled Snapshot. It is a super easy pattern to make up and Atkinson Designs really have great instructions so this would be appropriate for a beginner. This quilt measures 57" x 75" and took 12 fat quarters and border fabric. What do you think????

You've done a nice job sewing this top. It's fun but not my fave. See you on Saturday!

MMMM....uuuhhhhh....the design is cute. But the fabrics - are not doing anything for me. This would be really cute made up in different fabric. Of course, you did a beautiful job and I can't believe how fast you got it finished!

I really like the offset rectangles. I actually like all of the fabric for the blocks, I think it might be the border that is throwing everyone off.

Wow, what a speedy sewer. Not my usual color choice either (Your "Pretty in Pink" is more my style). But I think the quilt totaly goes with the idea of a snapshot and I like it.
