Women's Conference Outing at Pine Needles...

This is my family of sisters, my mom and nieces...every year we get together at conference time and  go to Gardner Village to have lunch, shop and then finally make our way to the Women's Conference which is always held on the last Saturday in September...
This witch and her black cats is just adorable and would be so cute in my yard...must find someone who can cut this out of wood...
Cooper and Grandpa...for church today, I put him in the little duck vest that I knit for my oldest son over 20 years ago...he looked adorable, however he did not want his picture taken and was unhappy...isn't he cute???

Pine Needles...

On our last trip into the Salt Lake City area, my husband graciously stopped at Pine Needles for me...Always and forever a treat!!  I love this cute design for Sandy Klop's lastest fabric collection...
I couldn't resist buying this panel for an I Spy quilt.  All I have to do is add borders and quilt...A great quilt for nap time  for the grandbaby...
Sandy Workman's pattern--isn't it precious???
I love this rosebud quilt--so refreshing and springy...
Love this design and love the grey lines throughout...
I am currently working on embroidering this little quilt, Little Things by Sandy Workman--I love little embroideries and this quilt is precious for a baby...
An adorable applique quilt, again by Sandy Workman...isn't she fabulous with her designs???
A fun display of quilted Valentines...By the way, Happy Valentines Day!!!  I made up a couple of these sweet valentines and tied chocolate to them for the family...(fun project)
This little guy makes me giggle and anxious for spring....

I'm the Queen...

Saturday, we had our annual trip as a family to Gardner Village and Women's Conference. Saw this pillow at the store "Just for Girls" and cracked up. Just so you all know--I'm the queen. Pantyhose do talk...

Of course we stopped at our favorite quilt store at Gardner Village, Pine Needles. Took some pictures of some adorable quilts...

I just love this quilt...they call it Pear-a-licious. It just looks so fresh and darling...

Got to see the Bit of Boo model of the quilt I am making from the BHG Shop Hop where they featured Pine Needles...

Love how they used Halloween fabrics on this, but you could just as easily use other holiday fabric for a great quilt...

This quilt is called
"Tribute to Judie"
and was made from various fabrics that Judie Rothermel designed. It is a great pattern to use up small pieces of Civil War collections...

Funny pillow I saw while shopping at Gardner Village...

Lovely witch at Gardner Village. The whole area was decorated with Halloween and witches...

One of my sisters, Rose, by this cute pumpkin display. We had a lovely, festive time full of fun and giggles and then we were treated to a wonderful Women's Conference. What a wonderful fall treat!!!

Excitement...

I have been anxiously
awaiting the arrival of this magazine...Pine Needles, a local shop in the Salt Lake City area is a featured shop and happens to be among my favorite quilt shops.
Sandy, the owner has designed this adorable Halloween quilt using Riley Blake's Halloween line...she even has a touch of embroidery throughout (my kind of quilt)!!

We made a stop at JoAnns to get floss...and I had 8 fat quarters from this line already...One more trip to the quilt store and I'm gonna be working on this!!

Fun Day at Gardner Village...

Every year at this time, my family gets together with my mom, sisters and cousins. We meet at Gardner Village and have lunch....we then find our way over to Pine Needles for some lovely quilt shopping.

Isn't this a great Halloween quilt?

The applique on this quilt was so endearing. The paperdolls were just fun. My niece bought a few patterns from this quilt for my sister to work on for her.

This little quilt is so cute for Christmas...
Witches were everywhere...Love this season....

This adorable little girl is my niece. She just turned 4 and got to come with the big girls. My mom made her this adorable little apron and... knitted this gorgeous coat, which is fully lined and has a velvet collar. My mother had started this coat several years ago for other grandchildren, but just recently got it finished and it happened to fit this little sweetheart. My mom does the most beautiful job of knitting and finishing work!!

After a day filled of fun eating and shopping and enjoying each other's company, we were off to Women's Conference. What a great day!!
