Auction...

Next Thursday for our Relief Society meeting, we are having an auction...We've been asked to donate items for this auction and in return, we get to participate in the auction. No money will exchange hands. Everyone has different items that they can donate such as haircuts, gardening, cooking, babysitting, etc. I signed up to donate hotpads....

and a table runner....

and some homemade bread. I think it will be a fun evening....

I am trying to manicure my stash...which includes my favorite thing to buy, charm packs. I used some leftover charms to make this table runner, pattern is by Sandy Gervais. The hotpads were made from leftovers from a quilt I made a couple of years ago. It is really fun to revisit these wonderful fabrics!!

Finally made this...because I loved it. I love charm packs. It allows you to have the entire collection at an affordable price without selling your firstborn child...I love this collection...Pattern and fabric by Sandy Gervais by Moda. Easy, quick and fun!!

This is sweet little , Lucy. She is almost 5 months old now. We got a good snow yesterday so I took her for a walk with her new stylin doggie coat--I quilted it from Sandy Gervais' L'amour Valentine charm pack. She was excited because she knew what was next....

Baby it's cold outside....

Appropriately named Brrrr....this little snowman was a joy to make out of the Sandy Gervais Crazy 8 charm pack from her winter collection. Unlike making the real thing, my hands didn't get cold once in the process. If you haven't tried one of her charm pack patterns, you're missing a real treat. It is fun, quick, easy and you can make it start to finish without having to involve a quilter....Give it a try sometime...

November mini quilt...

I was really excited that this little mini quilt turned out so cute. It totally sums up just what autumn is--Harvest Blessings. I took the pattern from Acorn Hollow, Nancy Halverson's autumn book from 2005. I have always loved this little book and it is about time I made something from it. I plan to do a few more projects in this book as well...If you haven't guessed by now--Nancy Halverson is one of my favorite designers along with Sandy Gervais and Kim Diehl. What talent....

Meet Freakinstein---I mean Frankenstein. Can't wait to make this to hang on my front door this year. The pattern is by Country Threads and is so adorable. A good scrap quilt.This cute little wall quilt is designed by Sandy Gervais by Pieces from my Heart. I love how she uses a charm pack to make the quilt. I'm in the process of making 2 of these....His name is Brrrrr by the way.

These little jewels are the square in a square blocks for the Hocuspocusville quilt. I hope the actual quilt turns out as good as the design in my head....I'll post further progress...
