Should you wish to whip up a couple of these for your holiday giving, it is a simple 9 patch block. Squares are cut at 3". For the arms, I used 1 1/2" squares sewn on the diagonal on the corners, trimmed and flipped like you would do the flying geese. Ric rac was applied before sewing the blocks together. Enjoy!!

Thanks for the idea. I always thought to make a pair for each of my nieces and nephews for Christmas, but there are too many of them to start the project this close to the Holiday this year... maybe next. Love your blog!
