Our Patchwork Friends Quilt Guild met on Wednesday evening and those participating in the friendship block exchange traded out their blocks. The theme: School house blocks with a 6" block in the right hand corner. Rules included using turkey reds or browns for the houses and using civil war fabrics. The blocks turned out really cute!!
I got so busy with various other things going on in my life and had to drop out of the exchange. I really like how they turned out. This was a difficult undertaking as the piecing was difficult but the end result looks great!
It was fun to see everyone's creative take on their 6" block insert. We have a lot of creative minds in our group....Stay tuned for show and share and a trunk show...
