Pee Pee Teepees

.
To finish off this baby gift, last night I went home and made 2 peepee teepees. For those of you who have not been exposed to this, they are a little flannel cone that you use with your baby boys to keep them from spraying all over when you change their diaper. Found the tutorial over on Little Birdie Secrets here. Quick and easy to make and hopefully useful!!

I remember seeing those in a local quilt shop and about laughed my head off. I remember when my first son was born (Our 3rd child), and NOBODY TOLD ME the kind of surprise you get when you change a diaper.I sure could have used a few of those!

A friend who is a new grandmother told us about these . . . her daughter, about to deliver a boy, asked her what she had used, and used the term, "pee-pee-teepee". We laughed till tears ran. I had brothers, so I knew to keep an extra diaper handy and the importance of quick hands!

This project idea really takes the cake. Although I do remember a time when Brock rolled over and peed all over Boyd's tie that was laying on our bed.
Funny!

OMG, I have never heard of these. What a hoot. Great idea, maybe a little big or this is high hopes?! Anyway, I always just hurried and used the diaper to cover the boy up quickly...Yes, I was sprayed a few times but that's all in being a Mom.hugs, Linda
