April's quilt guild.....Patchwork Friends

The first 3 pictures are from our guest speaker, who is a fiber artist. She really is a talented lady. The trout was free motion embroidery on a standard sewing machine.

The following pictures are from the show and share.

Oops, this is one half of our auction quilt this year. It has little embroidered blocks of flower babies. It is really precious.

This quilt is made from left over friendship blocks from last year. It will be donated to Quilts of Valor for our armed forces soldiers injured in action.

This is the block jack for this month.
Shabby Chic flowers....

The shabby chic flowers are definitely keepers. They remind me of the quilt that Kalie did with wool flowers in the corners where the blocks meet together.
Lovely...............

Thanks for sharing from your quilt group. I noticed a "Fun and Done" in there. I've taught that class several times.

Thanks for sharing your group's quilts. Your speaker trout was gorgeous. I tried to take photos at my quilt group today, not as easy as your photos make it look. I have a lot of heads and halves of quilts. Worst of all, I left my notes of who made which quilt so it may be a while till I can try posting the quilts.

I am just amazed at all that you get accomplished and it is all so lovely. Thank you for your inspiration. Like Marciea, I like the chic flowers but they are all so pretty and how nice of you to donate quilts to our armed forces people.
