I get to help assist teaching some Young Women journal covers tonight. I had loaned out my other covers, so I whipped this one up between exercise and work. I had some Kaffe scraps which are truly delectable and thought a sash might add some interest. Anyway, I had fun putting this together. As for the post yesterday, I realize that the embroidery falls flat, so I will be working on the new and improved finished and embellished version this week. Stay tuned.....

The embroidery really doesn't fall flat. I can totally tell how cool it is.
Fun journal cover......do the YW actually sew these themselves or do they watch you do it? :)

Loved the Journal cover. Just curious (as I'm planning our YW camp) what were the journals? Composition books, actual journals? Loved you sashing and yoyo's too.

Lucky Young Womens. What a great idea. I've been the Laurel advisor for quite a few years and I feel like I've run out of new ideas. This is one I haven't tried yet.
