We had a great time at guild tonight. We did some potato stamping for embellishment...I will be making something out of these blocks--stay tuned...![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVJIFbZyRveFR8IOUxJ7rk3rx9BBLWovfa2JZzl-hU0aWG3GoSFVuOZJB35225tjnn3A4zEUGs2bvl328MGhdttRniPV8NHd6oxyjfQ2NLRpuPkybvxppR_63sbfMYoz1A7IAA6pboiODk/s400/DSC00920.JPG)
Kari showed us some stencils that we could use in the reverse applique. The technique that she showed was really primitive and fun...![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8Ud0IzwgLpYhWEuUiY_JOvnECQ536XK6zvz5dmS37bKMGHBYkfN6KkqZBV6-MhiTWC4fWD4b7r_gsdFQC08HC4Gol9jptlfiMKPl9f3PBmuqpnuHSrNhtpMkMl6Do07_nS3BWsjnaUqUv/s400/DSC00919.JPG)
This is for the journey of a women's life and the block is that of grandmother. I think it is so sweet how it shows her working with her granddaughter on a quilt...![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_xwER-vai2mJG4VFlb3EIq3MTtrqhFLGmjHdeS5wxH9Msq2cMmwhLB-j5muYqQZnm3q4OpIX3g9_TkQXSDQhM4xgwujlBu04ixF5PUILmo8B1HvnanqO22-47Cqs-6mCUF1vnHw3QSrIm/s400/DSC00921.JPG)
Kari made this awesome Over The River quilt. I love love love how she incorporated a touch of red in a couple blocks to switch up all the black and tans....![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDsujwh0WpYL_m3Ap6PFk3Fm9hTrUSMwVuaxW3kEyX3MbeehaJ6zg1X6nDZb6PIba1j1JSubl6idbTFGX4c91084KmcSDzUXsWN8Ubgm1Jrfo5zJmyuinUagz45Z8Ytgy5l1LP04DukHGU/s400/DSC00923.JPG)

Thanks for the review. I just love seeing what others are up to. Favorite would be the Alphabet quilt. I love that it is different fonts. I used to have a typesetting business... in the 80s.
Looks fun as usual.
Love visiting your quilt guild meetings. Thank you for sharing.
