Women's Conference Outing at Pine Needles...

This is my family of sisters, my mom and nieces...every year we get together at conference time and  go to Gardner Village to have lunch, shop and then finally make our way to the Women's Conference which is always held on the last Saturday in September...
This witch and her black cats is just adorable and would be so cute in my yard...must find someone who can cut this out of wood...
Cooper and Grandpa...for church today, I put him in the little duck vest that I knit for my oldest son over 20 years ago...he looked adorable, however he did not want his picture taken and was unhappy...isn't he cute???

Patchwork Friends Quilt Guild...

In September, we start up again with our quilt guild, Patchwork Friends.  This year we started off with a bang...enjoy the show and share...

Talk about busy women...they acccomplished much this summer and the show and share was really fun because of it...
This quilt was an exchange block a couple of years ago...I finished it up for a dear friend for her niece's wedding that took place like forever ago and now she has her first baby...better late than never right?  I so copied Jean and her setting but did an original border treatment.  The niece loves purple, so I chose shades of purple and went for it...This quilt was a fun challenge to finish up and now I'm off to more sewing and creating....
