I can't tell you how much fun I had making this embroidered pillow. I embroidered the scarecrow on lunch hours and while I was with Curtis, driving to and fro. I have had the pattern for a couple of years now and I am so excited to get it finished.
That is completely adorable. I am beginning to believe that you are going to have to rent a storage unit just for your Halloween cuties. Where on earth are you storing all of these delicious delectables? Oh, by the way, I have finally completed Stawberry Shortcake the Sequel, the little sister quilt to the one I made Kalie. Do you remember when we went to Bernina's after Melinda's wedding and picked out the fabric for this quilt? I had enough fabric left over to make a twin sized quilt and it is equally as lovely as the original.
Thank you Mary, for the tie-ing tips!! It was perfect timing, too. I just finished the top this morning!
So as long as everything is pinned really well (luckily, I already had quilting safety pins) I don't need to use an embroidery hoop or anything? Too easy!
Thanks again. And I love all of your Halloween stuff!
Oh my gosh, I can't believe that you put a picture of a person on your blog. I love that picture of Curtis. You can really see the resemblance of your children in his features.
Welcome to Quilting Bloggers! There are 29 of us now from Utah! I love your stuff. Makes me want to pull out all my Halloween quilts. I noticed you live in Cache County. I had a daughter who went to Utah State. I'm down at the bottom of the state in St. George. Be sure to check me out at Cactus-Needle. -- Nedra

What pattern did you use for the witch pot holders? Those would be very cute gifts! --Nedra
