Cooper's Quilt...

I am reposting this post as the pictures for some reason did not come through...this pattern, Kaleidoscope, is really fun to sew and you can find the pattern here!!
On the back of the quilt, I used the scraps and put Cooper's name on it...
Close up of the letters...Have you ever put a name on a quilt???

Antique goodness...

I fell in love with this antique baby quilt at the antique store today...The simplicity of the pattern and using a variety of fabric.  It was such a sweet little quilt that had been loved literally to pieces...
A closer shot of the block...thought I might duplicate this sweet little pattern...true love....

Kaleidoscope...

I first saw this pattern over on the blog Cluck Cluck SewI just fell in love with it.  I needed to make a baby boy quilt and the colors are great for a boy!!
I really had fun putting this together and kind of sad I will parting with it soon...
I will be making another one of these for an upcoming grandbaby....
Make Life, an older collection by Sweetwater is one of my favorites...I had a few fat quarters in my stash so I added some additional fat quarters to have enough fabric to make this...Love how it turned out...
Found this fantastic brown gingham to back it with--love it...What do you think???
